Do I need a referral to see a Pelvic Health Physio? You don’t need a referral! Sometimes your GP or care provider will write a referral anyway, but it’s not essential

Do you accept EPC? Yes! There is a gap to pay, but EPCs are accepted

Do you accept private health? Yes! As long as you have extras cover for Physiotherapy

Are pessaries ok for younger women? Absolutely! Pessaries can work well for women of all ages

I think I have a prolapse, what should I do? Firstly, book an appointment with your GP to make sure that’s what it is. They may also suggest using some vaginal oestrogen cream. Then, book a Pelvic Health Initial assessment to make a plan to manage your symptoms.

Should I come in for pelvic floor concerns while pregnant? Yes! Getting on top of a pelvic floor concern before having your baby is best

Can I bring my baby to the pilates class? Yes! As long as your baby isn’t on the move, you are more than welcome to bring them to class

I’m not sue if you can help with my condition/symptoms, what should I do? Get in contact! Send me an email or give me a call, alternatively, a telehealth appointment could enable us to spend some more time talking about your history

I’m not sure if I will feel comfortable enough to have a pelvic floor assessment, what should I do? There are always alternatives, and you never HAVE to have one. A pelvic floor assessment gives us the best information, but there are other ways. Don’t let that get in the way of getting help!

When should I have a postnatal pelvic floor check? Normally around 6-8 weeks postpartum. If it’s after this, that’s ok. It’s never too late!
